A quaint, historic town nestled against the Sawtooth National Forest.
With a population of approximately 400, Fairfield's charm carries through with the people of the community, the local events, and the historic buildings. Soldier Mountain graces the skyline at 7,177 feet. Boasting a magnificent ski hill there is ample space for snowboarding, nordic and cross-country skiing and amazing powder runs. Other local recreation consists of snowmobiling, kiteboarding, hiking, camping, hundreds of miles of off-road vehicle trails and non-motorized trails, biking, fishing, boating, and hot springs to name a few. This is a great destination for hunting, bird watching and photography.
Stunning sunrises and peaceful evenings will give you the rest and relaxation you are looking for and located only 1 hour away is world famous Sun Valley, Idaho.
