250 Years of America: Celebrate the Semi-Sesquicentennial in Fairfield!  

We might not be able to pronounce it, but we definitely know how to celebrate it!
Join the Elmer Miller American Legion Post 19, the Auxiliary, and the Sons of the American Legion for a massive, family-friendly 4th of July celebration marking the United States’ 250th birthday! Main Street and City Park will be packed all day long with classic small-town fun.

Full Schedule of Events:

9:00 AM: Free Pancake & Sausage Breakfast at the Legion Hall (Huge thanks to Falls Brand!)

11:00 AM - 12:00 PM:  Bed Races & Lawnmower Races right through the center of town!  (Stop by The Cliff from 11-1 for race & parade libations!)

11:30 AM: Parade lineup at the football field.

12:00 PM (Noon): Patriotic Parade down Main Street! Led by the Legion Honor Guard and featuring first responders, military vehicles, old tractors, floats, and kids on decorated bikes. 

1:00 PM: Sons of the American Legion Horseshoe Tournament at the Legion Hall pits (Cash prizes! The Dungeon will be open for post-tournament drinks).

Afternoon: Family fun at Fairfield City Park! Bouncy house, face painting, Kids' Olympics, dunk tank, beach volleyball tournament, food vendors, and a beer garden.

6:00 PM - 9:00 PM: Live Country Music in the park featuring Kenny Saunders, Dave Muscavage, and Johnny Shoes!

Dusk: Huge Fairfield 4th of July Fireworks Show at the football field!

Bring your family, your lawn chairs, and your patriotic pride. Let’s celebrate 250 years of America together in Camas County!

4-H market animals, 4-H projects, music at the park, vendors, rides, kids bike parade, street dance.
